Earlier today I prepared our to-go meals for the week. My wife seasoned the meat last night and left it in the fridge over night.
The meals will be simple three part meals like I usually prepare. The protein will be mildly seasoned chicken or my wife’s awesome turkey meatloaf. I also made black beans and mixed vegetables for the sides.
I finished preparing the meat by letting it bake in the oven for about 30 minutes. Adding cheese to the meatloaf near the end.
Packing my meals like this ahead of time helps me stay committed to eating healthy and save money since I already have meals that can be ready to eat in minutes.
